Inclusion-Exclusion

Engraved into the ledges of the Angel Island Immigration Station were many immigration-related words, and one ledge had inclusion and exclusion on opposite ends.

Reflection

The pair of objects in this photo is the pair of tiers that serves as the main support for the deck of the Throgs Neck Bridge. Despite the numerous times I've been to Fort Totten, I am always awed by the lights on the bridge and the reflection off the water. It creates a sense of peacefulness and calmness and encourages a light and thoughtful conversation.

Baby Crocs

Evelyn's baby Crocs look so adorable just lying on the backyard patio. I still think Crocs look so ridiculous and refuse to wear them.

Chopsticks

Using chopsticks are much more convenient that using forks, spoons, and knives. I can't see myself using western-style utensils at every meal; they seem very not versatile and hard to use.

Cornell 2014's

I actually took this on May 13, 2012 after studying for my finals. It was at 2 o'clock in the morning and after 3 hours of studying, I needed something fun to do before sleeping. I cleared the top of my fridge, which I use as a nightstand, and placed my night light on the window sill next to the fridge. This photo was taken with my 50mm lens and the lighting and reflection turned out surprisingly well. This pair of sunglasses were the pair I wore at Slope Day this year, representing the Class of 2014.
